Both of these trailers are exceptional. The second in particular is very abstract and artistic. I believe this makes it gives it a softer, sympathetic and more innocent side of such a violent game. Whereas the teaser is more violent hard hitting and I love it's use of 2D colours in particular. I admire both of them. Enjoy.
This is the teaser trailer. It shows Marcus in a chainsaw duel with a locust soldier and other violent attributes. To me, it shows how savage and bloody the Gears of War franchise really is.
The next trailer is the actual Gears of War: Last Day trailer. It shows Marcus, Baird, Dom and Cole preparing to be thrown deep into the underground to take on the locust horde on the front line of the war. It's very similar to the Gary Jules trailer in the original Gears. Both of which have relaxing and intriguing music to give the Cogs a more human and sympathetic side.

Whenever I think of 3D animation I always go back to The Lawnmower Man. Made in 1992 the year I was born it isn't the best film in the world but there are some parts in it which I found pretty unique. I also thought Jeff Fahey's performance in the film is drastically unappreciated. He was far superior to Pierce Brosnan in this movie. Overall it's an easy forgettable movie but the 3D virtual world element in this movie isn't terrible for it's time. This is where it all started...
